Choosing which pages an event appears on

Pre-conditions:

  • Account configured as site editor
  • Editing and event
While editing an event you will see two fields which describe where the main information for the topic exist ‘topic’ and also a list of check boxes which identify where an event is to be listed and include a button to the booking form.

Adding the dates for a event to its topic

To add the list of dates to a topic:
  • Create and entry and click the “Advanced edit” box. Save the entry and re-edit.
  • Within the entry include:
    • <notextile>
    • {% raw }{{ topics_events }}{ endraw %}
    • </notextile>
  • Once saved a list of any dates allocated to that page should appear.

Adding a price to an event

Pre-conditions:
  • Account configured as site editor
  • Editing and event
Clicking the “Add price band” button will allow you to add the pricing information for an event. Enter the following information:
  • Name – the name of the price band (if only one then “Cost” is a good choice)
  • Cost pennies – the cost of the event in pennies (£10.30 would be 1030)
  • Price – This is deprecated and will be removed soon.
